Wendy Braun is a professional actress In Los Angeles who has made her living solely from acting for over a decade. Moving from Chicago, with no connections, to pursue her dreams, Wendy is living proof that anything is possible!
Wendy has worked her way up, experiencing every level of the acting business, from her humble beginnings doing extra work, all the way to walking the red carpet at her first movie premiere! Wendy has been through it all!

Bio
Wendy Braun has been gaining considerable notice from top Hollywood directors. John Whitesell cast Wendy alongside Martin Lawrence as the enthusiastic yet wacky Coach Bonnie in Big Momma’s House 2. Will Smith selected her for his sitcom directorial debut episode of All of Us, and most recently, America Fererra cast Wendy in her directorial debut of Parental Guidance.
The busy actress is now recurring as the officious Ms. Iris Sneed on General Hospital. Her character was then added to the GH spinoff, Night Shift. Wendy has also recently appeared in guest starring roles on Criminal Minds, Bones, iCarly, Navy NCIS, and Lost. Braun can next be seen opposite Zach Levi in the upcoming feature, Shades of Ray, and just returned from Puerto Rico, where she filmed A Perfect Getaway with Timothy Olyphant.
From the idyllic suburb of Northbrook, Illinois, made famous as the setting in many beloved John Hughes films, Braun began acting at age 12 as The Scarecrow in The Wiz. Her mother was the famed Miss Beverly, host of the children's television show Romper Room, and her father was a Navy pilot. She continued performing throughout highschool and at Indiana University, where she graduated a semester early to pursue acting.
In between film and television work, Wendy has also become a highly sought after talent for her voice-over work. Her distinct voice and comedic timing can be currently heard in spots for Safeway, Nordstrom Rack, Sea World, Public Storage, In-N-Out, Wells Fargo, and many others. She has voiced promos daily for ELLEN: The Ellen Degeneres Show, BabyFirst TV and HGTV and continues her third year as the signature promo voice of Los Angeles' PBS station, KCET. Her latest animation credits include Celebrity Deathmatch and XBOX 360's Mass Effect.
